Hi,
I converted an srt file to fcpxml 1.5 and imported this fcpxml into Resolve 14 with no problem.
But when I try the conversion from the fcpxml 1.5 exported from Resolve to SRT, I just got an error message.

Your FCPXML might be too heavy for SubSimple.

Try this:
– Duplicate your DaVinci Resolve timeline (rename/append with Subtitle Export)
– Delete everything except subtitle track
– Export fcpxml and convert with SubSimple

I think that this is what I’m doing.
Just a doubt about what you mean by “Subtitle Export”
Is this done with DaVinci Resolve or is it a separate app ?
There is 734 subtitles in the timeline, is this too heavy ?

The number of subtitles should not be a problem.

By “Subtitle Export” – I just mean to rename your Timeline and stay organized. Make sure there are no special character in your filename. Aside from that, I’m not sure what’s going wrong. I would need to see your fcpxml file.

I tried with a 3 letters file name. Same result.
Could you take a look the fcpxml file ?
